you can't create it.
mindset for today:
long week, long weekend, and soon it will be monday. weeks usually go ok. you know, work>school>sleep>school>work. that's usually the progression. but seriously, the things that make me happiest is something that seems to be created for me, and myself only.
the clouds this past week were beautiful through all these wet days and if any of you know my obsession with clouds, you know they've kept me going. along with anticipation for what is come and how exciting these next few months can be. i don't want to live everyday waiting for something to happen. i want to love everyday expecting something to happen. i love what i have and what i don't know. ... .

a few quick thoughts:
: fellow employees at chase pitkin are expecting a closing within a few months now. i went through our computer yesterday and nothing, absolutely nothing, (but paint) was on order in our department. i honestly think they told us a year so that basically all the poor employees with families and loved ones stay till the end when really - they're closing a lot sooner.
: i really love miss disco and hate the feeling of getting so attatched to animals. i'm such a sucker.
: i could really go for a show right about now. fischerspooner in the city on halloween anyone?
: michael was the most motivating person in my life this weekend.
: i work with very very weird people.
: another trip to christopher street this december possibly? and another trip to the moma.
here's are a few of the favorites...

Okay well this rainy weather just doesnt work for me. I can see how it can wor wonders for photography, but man I just can't wake up.
As far as you three favorties. Scratch the familair face, and the bottom is too abstract. I like the one on the left. Simplistic with enough focus to be nice.
The others I would scratch off as trying too hard to be sometihng they won't be.
oh and if you have a big image of the simple one I would like to make it one of my backgrounds.
but kyle...it's andy warhal and jackson pollock. suit yourself. i'll send you the file of the other one...
or just click on it and save the pic.
I put an image up on my blog of one of my favoritre artists :) I'll do another later.
Eric Drooker is one of my favorite artists. He does a lot of woodblocks, which, if you know what goes in to them, can be greatly appreciated. He alos does paintings which I love. Actually Kyle, you might recognize one of his paintings..... Check him out.

ahhh pollack. finally i will be able to take my Pollack home i framed several years here at Chase. he is exceptional in his work. one of my faves. good choice
oh and rumor here is that were gonna close 1st of the year. you wouldnt know it with all the orders and frames we've been getting in. Ive got more backstock and special orders than i can remember. at this moment as i write i have no more bin space to put work. they are piling up on the work bench/island. maybe i should go do some work.
yea they definitely aren't telling us something. it's all of a sudden gonna be like poof i think. why wait to go into a whole nother year when your closing? not the smartest move....you should just stop taking orders december 1st. i'm serious! ask JR. and tell that man i said hello....or not.
