happy trails and innocent animals
it started on thursday at the juliana theory show in syracuse. as pathetic as it seems, this is my sixth time seeing this band and something still draws me back. i don't know if it's to see brett detar or what (for a more detailed explanation go here). i still wonder why they are so amusing to watch after all these years. needless to say, the show was a success. thanks hillary for makin it happen...
my weekend soon disintegrated after last nights indie dance night in buffalo. first things first...i probably shouldn't have started the night of with a slice of greasy pizza from "prima pizza". but what pizza place doesn't have bread sticks, right? first sight driving by the Mohawk Place were...well, mohawks. which actually seemed a bit creepy. but the night definitely took a change for the better. until some nice person decided to spill their drink all over the soundboard and the system blew. yeah...i could still hear the screeching noise when i was lying in bed at 4 in the morning. i did experience something quite grotest on the car ride there. it's hunting season. so of course i'm being the cautious driver that i am....x 10. i passed a little critter (possibly a rabbit or raccoon) on it's back on the shoulder. it had its little feet in the air wiggling frantically. i have never seen anything so sad yet so disgusting. needless to say, my weekend was great and am ready for this break coming up from school. i really love thanksgiving...and am in love with the holiday season.
have a great week everyone. and make the best of it...
