what century is it again?
i am excited to announce that i am writing this post in my own apartment - with internet! it's been four months - 4 months i repeat - to get this internet up and running. in a very kind and loving manner, i want to simply express to everyone that verizon is a slow and incompetent company that does not know how to do their job. i can't tell you how many days i wasted on the phone with them. and how many days i was transferring to random departments that had nothing to do with my problem. it took them 2 months to send us our freakn modem - thankfully they didn't charge us for it. but apparently to actually configure the dsl in our apartment was nearly impossible. they told my roommates and i that it might not even be possible. ok - let me reiterate something. what century is it? do i not live in one the most flourishing city's in the united states of america? and yet it took them almost 4 months to configure a dial tone! i am not exaggerating people. i moved in, in august...it's december! enough ranting...i am very very thankful for joe in tech support who helped configure the whole thing (because of course the installation CD didn't work) once our modem finally arrive this week. i pray God brings him wonderful things in life and he wins the lottery. i've had fine service with verizon for my cell phone...but this? this is asinine. all i want to do is call the company and speak with someone who is intelligent, knows how to speak english, and do their job and help me to the fullest degree. is that too much to ask? so i caution you all i guess (even though i'm sure you all have internet already) from this very incompetent company.
on that note. please expect more fun-filled blogs with pictures alot more frequently.
have a great weekend everyone!

its always good to find that one helpful intelligent english speaking person for some kind of tech support. you call and personally tell them that he was the only helpful person you had throughout that entire company
you are too funny han! haha i'm loving your honesty..much love to you :)
Dude, in California... SILICON VALLEY none the less, We were not guaranteed high speed internet!!! What the heck!?!?! Yea, when we moved to Pacifica, we were told that they were not sure if we could get high speed and how we might have to go with DSL. What the heck? Didn't the major part of the dot-com boom happen there? I'm just saying. Anyway, I find that in large cities it is more difficult to find the proper customer service and needs met. So sad...
