greetings from the big apple!

well i have arrived everyone. well, on wednesday anyway...these last few days i really have gotten to know the ins and outs fairly well. need to give probs to my old rochesterian friend, bobbo, for showing me a few hot spots. we walked over 10 miles yesterday...from brooklyn, cross the manhattan bridge, through china town (a few more than one i think), near the village, to soho. had lunch at a hole in the wall burrito place. litteraly....a hole in the wall. it actually wasn't too bad (if i didn't think of what was in the chicken). ya know what i love about the city? that every freakn person owns an ipod. i especially like when people carry then in their hands just to let everyone know they have one. i mean come on....i swear people buy white head phone just to be hip. oh and i feel old school because my ipod was made a year ago. i actually kinda like it like that. the best laugh i've had yet was when some money dripping, slicked hair rich man dropped his. yeah...he's was one of the ones carrying it. anyways...i refuse to be one of them.

so tomorrow i'm going to a few galleries in chelsea for most the day. i'll be sure to post some photos up soon...so keep looking. i hope everyone is doing well and i miss you all already. i guess that means you have to come and visit right? i would just love to have you. until then....

disturbing.

so i heard about this and truly questioned of its truth. but i guess it is. the first cyclops kitten born with only one eye and no nose. it was born in oregon on december 28, last year and i guess was thought to be a fake for a while. i mean it's kinda cute...if you like that sorta thing. except i don't know how exactly it smells...or sees for that matter.it kinda looks a little like an alien. the poor thing though. i guess it's owner named it Cy...for the one and only day it lived. the funny thing is that the other two in the litter were born normal and healthy. i guess the owner is keeping it in a freezer in case scientists would like to research this holoprosencephaly condition. i wonder if it smells? so what's next? its owner in portland i guess has been getting emails to put Cy up on ebay. i mean that's the most disturbing thing about it! who wants a frozen one eyed kitten? the good news? she refuses to do so...
